Q. With so many carpet cleaners and cleaning methods out there, how does one choose?

Debra: It’s difficult. Consumers see so many ads promising quality work at low, low prices. When far too often the consumer is left with poor quality work and a final cost double or triple the advertised price.

Q. What do you mean?

Debra: As far as the quality of workmanship, we often hear of carpets remaining wet for days with odors and spots returning soon after. Carpets cleaned properly should dry quickly and stay looking great for 12 to 18 months. When it comes to that low price, you’ll find it was just a way for them to get into your home—that the low price is not for a complete and thorough cleaning. Because most in the industry work on commission, they will pressure you to spend more and more money for additional services.

Q. I’ve had experiences in the past where once I had my carpets cleaned, they seem to get dirty quicker and need to be cleaned more often. What causes this?

Debra: That’s very common. With many cleaning methods, soap and/or chemical residues are often left in the carpet fibers. This residue attracts dirt like a magnet. This residue must be completely rinsed and extracted out or your carpets will indeed get dirtier quicker. We do a double, clean hot water rinse and extraction step to thoroughly rinse the carpet fibers. Most cleaning companies don’t have the rinse and extraction step which is essential for proper carpet cleaning.

Q. Can you tell us about the cleaning method you use?

Debra: Sure. We use a custom multi-step cleaning process. First, we vacuum the carpets. Second, we gently rotary shampoo the carpets with the finest cleaning agents. Third, we get on our hands and knees and hand-work those hard-to-reach edges, corners and stairs. Fourth, we rinse and extract the carpets at least twice with clean hot water to ensure a thorough cleaning with total residue removal.

Q. What kind of cleaning equipment do you use?

Debra: We use only the best van mounted and powered cleaning systems. This specialized equipment rinses, extracts and dries better and faster than any other equipment available today. Our customers carpets are never left over-wet and will dry within a few hours.

Q. It sounds like you have plenty of expertise in the carpet cleaning industry. Is there anything else you would like to add?

Debra: Yes, that my company is an Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) certified firm. My entire staff and I take great pride in our skills and expertise. My customers can be assured that they will always deal directly with me— the owner. I will answer their questions honestly and thoroughly. My commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is the most important factor I stress. Also, our work is fully guaranteed.
